Maggie Siebert
Maggie Siebert has been living, practicing, and teaching yoga under the crisp pink of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque since 2004. She is the owner and director of Sani Yoga studio and leads the teacher training program. She has taught yoga as a part-time faculty member of the University of New Mexico and with many diverse populations ranging from the Albuquerque Women’s Domestic Violence Shelter to sharing yoga with dancers in Senegal. Maggie holds a Masters degree in Community Health Education and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Communication. Her style is playful and challenging, yet unpredictable. Her influences come from the Iyengar, Anusara, and Dharma Mittra traditions. She enjoys finding new approaches to challenge advanced students, and breaking down poses to make them more accessible for beginning students. Maggie is passionate about inspiring her students to live a healthy and fulfilling life through the practice of yoga.
