The Guru Within: Developing a Home Practice
Limited Capacity seats available

The sanskrit word Guru translates to dispeller of darkness and is used to refer to someone we view as a guide or teacher. In the yoga tradition the greatest guru of all, is the one dwelling within ourselves. The ability to listen to our bodies, uncover our inner wisdom, and hear our own intuition are the benefits of unlocking the teacher within. While it may be intimidating to attempt a practice without the guidance of an instructor, it is a necessary step in the transition from taking yoga classes to living a yoga lifestyle. Through the discipline of a personal home practice and dedication to yogic living, we gain access to experiencing harmony and balance within our everyday lives. In this session, Ash will introduce the foundations for exploring a regular home yoga practice through personal inquiry. Discussion will also include the philosophical disciplines of yoga and tools for living your yoga off the mat. Please bring a journal or notepad. Participants will receive an interactive handout that will assist in mapping out a practice plan and bring to light areas of focus unique to each individual.
