The session begins with a guided meditation in order to deepen into presence with multiple layers of your being. You will access physical and energetic layers, emotional and metal bodies. You will access subtle imbalances and blocked in the chakras. This session incorporates guided imagery, to bring participants to a state of deep peace and true sense of self and oneness with all that is.  It involves unwinding of blocked energy through multiple layers and gaining insights into what was stuck. This session teaches a form of meditation that allows for continuation of this work at home.

Meditation as A Key Component to any Yoga Practice

Meditation as a practice is a key component for any Yogi, either as a teacher or student. As far back as the oldest Upanishads we learn, Meditation indeed is greater than the mind. The earth as it were, meditates. The atmosphere as it were, meditates. Heaven as it were, meditates. The waters as it were, meditate. The mountains as it were, meditate. Both men and gods as it were, meditate. He who worships God as meditation, as far as meditation extends, so far does he gain the power to act as he wills (Chandogya Upanishad VII.7). So ingrained in the need of the human psyche is it to Know Itself, that we have studied it for all of our recorded human history. And yet its function and practical applications have remained as shrouded in mystery for most modern humans as it has for our past. Understanding the Inner Self, or the I AM, is far simpler and more approachable than most people may realize. And although it would seems to be as important to serve our selves as our students in yoga classes, many modern yoga teachers are uncomfortable with its practice and indeed are not adherents even for themselves, and therefore do not give adequate instruction in its capability. In this workshop, we will dive into the practicality of what Meditation IS and WHY it works. - Understand the brain and how the Conscious and SubConscious mind work together. - Discover how systematic thought can change the body's reactions and responses to illness and pain. - Be guided through a personal journey that will give you a glimpse of the threshold of where a deep meditation practice may lead you.

A “Satsang with Mohanji” session is essentially about YOU with the Master. It is all about finding yourself. As is typical of the tradition of liberation, Mohanji will use a medley of practices such as Q&A, discourse, dhyana (meditation), pranayama, mantras/shlokas, manana (contemplation techniques), etc., to allow the participant an opportunity to start entering their inner space and seek within. The actual flow will finally depend on orientation and energy of the participants. At this session, following satsang, Mohanji will give Shaktipat (energy transfer) to all participants who choose to receive it. The actual content of the satsang will be similar to the Friday and Saturday sessions (and thus the 2 hour stated session length below). The additional length for this session is to allow time for participants to receive Shaktipat. If necessary the satsang portion may be shortened to accommodate more people receiving Shaktipat.
