Join internationally acclaimed Vedic master teacher and author, Acharya Shunya as she teaches the most sublime lessons of mind management and inner mental rejuvenation as per the science of Ayurveda, that can be combined with the knowledge of Yoga Sutra’s (beginner or advanced) for even greater self awareness and self control.

Join Acharya Shunya to understand how you can help your own mind be more calm, balanced and blissful, in spite of challenges and old patterns. 

There are three constituent energy states (gunas) used in Ayurvedic practice. Shunya explores how these gunas influence one's mood, outlook, and activity level. Participants also learn about five states of mind and how they contribute to mental balance/imbalance as well as how food affects the gunas, in addition to the importance of practice of non-attachment and dharma. This approach to psychology is unique as well as valuable because it allows for a paradigm shift away from the disease model and toward a model for achieving and sustaining mental health.

The sacred sound of OM sonically and visually brings us through the natural cycle of creation. As humans we often get stuck in some aspect of the creation process: it is hard to get started- birthing, we get bored with the mundane daily activity that it takes to sustain a creation - duration, or we can’t let go and we hold on - death/destruction. This simple vinyasa flow practice allows you to settle deeply into yourself and your practice so that you may see what part of the cycle you are resisting today. Dana will invite you to engage your breath and create space in your body, mind, and spirit so that you may find more ease and alignment with the natural flow of life. This will be a full practice - mantra practice, simple vinyasa practice, long savasana and meditation. Appropriate for all levels.
