Love & Service - Full Body Prayer

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

A yogic lifestyle (via love & service) is a full-body prayer. This trauma-informed healing session integrates the ancient eastern wisdom traditions of yoga and ayurveda with western tools for recovery to enhance the participant's understanding of yoga as therapy for recovery. This session offers a trauma-sensitive framework weaving specific practices (asana, pranayama, mindfulness, etc.) designed to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring symptoms. We will explore a comprehensive approach to emotional sobriety by embodying concepts including surrender, letting go, acceptance, growth, awakening, gratitude, and selfless service as an inquiry into the physical, energetic, mental and emotional body. Come discover the interaction between body, breath, mind, intellect, and emotions - moving towards integrated health and well-being.
