Once upon a time the Great Mother was the All. She was both Light and Shadow, Loving and Fierce, the Goddess who gives and the Goddess who takes away. In the last 2000+ years she got split into Good and Evil- with the Light Feminine being elevated in her pure/beautiful/virginal/self sacrificing energies and the Dark Feminine being demonized in her powerful/intense/force-to-be-reckoned with energies. In this class we will explore the other half of the Great Mother that needs to be brought back into conscious awareness for the healing and wholeness so desperately needed right now on planet earth. We will explore the Dark Goddess astrologically, mythologically and psychologically. And we will explore Shadow Work and why it's not an option but a necessary requirement for personal and collective evolution right now.
