Forrest Yoga is a contemporary practice designed by Ana Forrest to help in mending the hoop of the people. The workshop will begin with a four directions ceremony and intent setting. Through guided meditation and focused pranayama practice, participants will choose an emotion, physical injury, or mental trauma that they are interested in healing. Throughout the 90-minute physical practice, Hibs and her assistants will lead students through therapeutic contemporary yoga pose variations, processes, and exercises, incorporating skillful hands-on assists, aromatherapy, and clear individualized instruction. Students will learn to face and feel the pain, using the effective tools of Forrest Yoga to breathe, feel, heal and move from pain and trauma into freedom and spaciousness.
