This class is an overview of the energy system known as chakras; psychic centers of consciousness and the role of the kundalini energy in their activation and awakening. Throughout the world, the cobra or serpent has been a classical symbol of kundalini energy. According to yoga philosophy, the journey of kundalini through the chakras represents the path of evolution for each human being. There will be discussion of kundalini energy, the mythology and psychology of the chakras, and how the flow or blocked energy in our bodies reflect in our lives and health. This class is an overview of the energy system known as chakras, psychic centers of consciousness discussed in the Vedas and other ancient texts.
